A Place 2 Go was founded from a deeply personal experience, born out of my time in prison and the moving stories of women who spent decades behind bars. Imagine stepping into freedom at 55, only to find the world unrecognizable, support systems vanished, and reentry programs focused on the young. These women, having paid their debt, face heartbreaking barriers: homelessness, isolation, and society’s indifference. At A Place 2 Go, we do more than offer a roof. We welcome these women with dignity and surround them with compassion, practical life skills, and a true sense of community. Here, hope is rekindled, resilience grows, and women discover they are worthy of a new beginning, regardless of age or past mistakes. Private support means everything. Together, we can change the story for these women, giving them not just shelter, but the chance to heal, thrive, 

and believe in tomorrow.

 As Chief Operating Officer of A Place 2 Go, I am honored to play a role in building a supportive foundation for formerly incarcerated women over 55. With a background in public relations, marketing, and organizational strategy, I oversee our daily operations, lead fundraising efforts, develop impactful programs, and foster partnerships that advance our mission.

I am passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for underserved populations, and I bring that same dedication to the work we do at A Place 2 Go. Together, we can make a difference and provide the support these women need to thrive.

As Board Chair of A Place 2 Go, I’m deeply committed to supporting justice-impacted women through creative programming, resource development, and community-centered care. My work brings together cultural awareness, art-making, data, and public space to build more equitable systems and expand access to opportunity. Drawing from my lived experience navigating the justice system and advocating for mental health, I lead with empathy, clarity, and a focus on long-term impact.
